PIRELLI – Scorpion Tyres Pirelli is a company which has an international reputation for reliability longevity and above all STYLE. Everyone has heard of the brand and is aware of the companies support and understanding of the arts as is demonstrated on a yearly basis with the production of the Pirelli Calender. My painting celebrates Winter and the Scorpion Tyres. The surfaces and colours in the foreground suggest motion, landscape and the textures of a journey perhaps through the Alps. The tread of the Scorpion tyres solidify and ground the imagery in the painting to indicate the strength durability and above all the safety of the product. Anne Urquhart-Edwards
